IS IT POSSIBLE TO RENT EQUIPMENT?
Of course!
The Jurgów-Ski Ski Station offers the possibility of renting full ski equipment. We have skis for both children and adults. 10% discount for our school's clients.
WHERE ARE THE SCHOOL OFFICES LOCATED?
There are two well-marked school offices at the Jurgów Ski Station, where qualified staff are waiting for you.
FROM WHAT AGE CAN CHILDREN START SKIING?
It is said that children can start learning to ski from the age of 4. However, this is a very individual matter. One child develops motor skills faster, while other children need more time and are ready to ski later, e.g. at the age of four or even five.
ARE SCHOOL INSTRUCTORS TRAINED TO TEACH YOUNG CHILDREN?
Each skiing or snowboarding instructor at the school has all the qualifications and, perhaps most importantly, extensive experience necessary to teach the youngest. Additionally, the School has been implementing a children's education system for years based on the Sitnuś program adapted for the youngest skiing beginners.
HOW LONG SHOULD THE FIRST LESSON WITH A TRAINER LAST?
The first lesson with an instructor should be adapted to the student's age and physical condition. It can last from 50 minutes to two hours.
HOW TO DRESS FOR SKIING?
Ski clothing should be adapted to winter conditions. Therefore, we need: a winter jacket and pants (not waterproof), a pair of gloves, a hat, appropriate thermal underwear, ski socks, glasses or goggles. The necessary equipment for a skier are, of course, skis, boots, ski poles (according to the instructor's recommendation) and a helmet. If we do not have our own equipment, we can always use the services of our rental company - 10% discount.
